The difference is in the fit.
A fire door only works if it is fitted right. The gap around the frame, the intumescent seals, the hinges and the closer all have to be correct, or the door cannot hold back smoke and fire the way it is meant to.
We fit fire doors to the manufacturer's specification, with the same care that goes into every other piece of joinery we do. We have done this work in both homes and commercial premises, from loft conversions and internal alterations to fire door installations in commercial buildings, each one finished to the standard you would expect from a joiner who takes pride in the work.

Our roofing team covers everything from slate and tile to lead work, flat roofs, Velux windows and guttering, on homes and commercial buildings across Merseyside and the Northwest. Whether it is a single slipped slate, storm damage or a full re-roof, we start with an honest assessment of what actually needs doing, then carry it out properly so the roof stays watertight.
